IThese two great post-freudian
thinkers'ideas are a very valious gift for
the comprehension of the "no
neurotic", borderline or "frontier
cases" pathologies of our time. The
contemporary question is centered in
"to be" or "not to be".
These names are a cross-road position from
which we can observe and diagnosis the
neurotic, psychosomatic, addictive and
anti-social patients

In our psychoanalytical work it is
observable that a lot of our technical
troubles are ethical.

how Winnicott and Piera Aulagnier done their
different clinical work, including the
differences between psychotic, neurotic or

This paper is an attempt to build some
trends between Piera Aulagnier' and
Winnicott's conceptualizations. Both authors
thought the "ambient"
(father/mother) which surround the newborn
generates an intense influence on its
psychic constitution and sometimes determine
very important failures in its precocious
development. This ideas are illustrated with
a small clinical vignette about a baby who
suffered an intense trauma after its birth.
